Day 8

Majority shareholder of the blog here - don’t worry, no Huxley or Frost references from me
Today was another relaxing day on the island of Koh Samui. We began our day around 10 AM by heading down to the beach
We used the hotels stand up paddle boards right away. The water was calm and warm - there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. After a bit, we headed back to the shore to relax. I ordered food from Chabad through WhatsApp and enjoyed it on the beach
We spent the next hour or so on the shore until we headed back in the water for another dip. We noticed rain clouds approaching and went back to the shore. Not a moment later, a downpour began and we hurried back to our rooms. We relaxed there for a little before planning a little on the hotel computers for our next few days. We booked our hotel for Kho Phi Phi and our flights to Japan for Sunday.
We ordered a taxi and went to the Koh Samui chabad for dinner. They had a kosher dairy restaurant next door to the Chabad and a meat restaurant on the 2nd floor of the chabad. This seemed to me like the Israeli section of Koh Samui; street signs were in Hebrew and there were pictures of Israeli tourists in the tour shops
This Chabad was by far the nicest we’d seen. The restaurant floor was quite large and the Beit Knesset housed a great selection of Sefarim. There was also a shop where we bought some more pretzels for the next few days. We ordered some meals to go to hold us over on Kho Phi Phi
We headed back to the hotel and went to bed, ready for a full day of boats and buses the following day to get us to Kho Phi Phi
