The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)

So so well made. Love Sergio Leone's filmaking style so much. But... I gotta tip my hat to Ennio Morricone here more than anything; that score is just so iconic and builds up moments like nothing else.

There's something about westerns that's just so prototypical "movie" to me. Like these are the templates on which modern movies are built. Maybe its cuz they are who knows
