The Father (2020)

I’m not sure how much of this was brought over from the stage play, like the costume continuity to further confuse the viewer, but this worked so well in a film format. This was SOO well directed- really putting you in the shoes of Anthony Hopkins and leaving you confused and with lapses in memory and understanding throughout 
And Anthony Hopkins dang - that man becomes his character 
This film took a simple concept and executed it perfectly. This is one for the ages in film editing and filmmaking overall
