Day 12 - Motzei Shabbat #2

It finally happened- I got sick. Friday night was relatively normal. We walked 10 minutes to Chabad of Phuket and were amazed by the premises. The Chabad is a 4 story building with a dairy restaurant attached on the ground floor. There is a Shul on the 3rd floor where there were about 120 people davening Friday night. After Minyan, there were two options for dining, the second and fourth floor. We chose the 4th and were shocked; a giant room with around 600 people eagerly awaiting dinner greeted us. The meal was a typical Chabad meal

I woke up around 2 AM feeling sick and drifted in and out of sleep until the morning. I spent the rest of the day feeling faint, feverish, and weak. Luckily for us both, it was Shabbat and we probably would have spent the day in or around the hotel regardless.
