Film review

★★★★★
It feels improper attempting to even write a review capturing the grandeur of this movie. So i'll spare all the prose and all the "beauty of cinema" idaes and just say that this movie is profound in more ways than I can fully process over the course of a night.
Every frame had something special in it. The framing, staging, lighting, cinematography, blocking. You name it. Its like in every shot Edward Yang decided to go god mode - in a different way.
This movie made life look so purely and devastatingly cinematic. Every frame a painting quite literally.
