The Third Man (1949)

★★★★

Yeah Film Noir is pretty fantastic. Especially liked the last 30 minutes, starting with the police stakeout and the cutting between closeups and shots of the city. The final chase also had some great shots, cutting, and lighting. Really the lighting throughout was perfect.
Also appreciated the sense of disarray we felt all throughout the beginning until the introduction of Orson Welles through the use of the Dutch angles; to get inside the head of Holly.
And the Ferris wheel conversation. Really well crafted dialogue scene and what a believable and despicable villain Orson Welles presents
