Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts (2022)

Really really well done but they were so desperately missing JK Rowling. To constantly speak about the “world that Jo created” without allowing jo to partake in the reunion rubbed me the wrong way. I understand that the movies were a family in and of themselves but cmon; credit where credit is due. Besides that it was really nice to reminisce and be engulfed by a wave of nostalgia. Every year and a half or so I miss the Harry Potter Universe deeply and this reunion kickstarted that feeling early this year. It was great to see how much of a family the cast became and how they really are genuinely nice people. Also I’m glad the majority of the spotlight was on the directors and that Dan gave credit to Chris Columbus for basically propelling the series in the right direction with all the decisions he made for how the world should look; an accomplishment which is often overlooked. I loved the special and hope Harry Potter continues to live on and on. Can’t wait to read it to my kids
