Backrooms (2026)

Like 3 seasons of Severance compressed into sub 2 hours. I know the YouTube series has been out for years and I'm sure someones already written about it, but as the movie went further along and we see the descent into different versions of the same reality, each more removed from what reality actually is, I kept thinking about Platos theory of forms. That there is an ideal version of everything in the world and then subsequent, lesser versions of that reality.
Definitely more questions raised than answered watching this, but crazy how well realized this movie is from a 20 year old director. Can't believe the cast he got also for his feature. Renate was great as always
