Day 23

Third day of Avi and I on our own journeys in Tokyo

I began my day at Yoyogi park - a huge park next to the shrine id visited two days before

I then went to a Kabuki show at the Kabuki-Za National theater in Tokyo

I followed a list of 102 things to do in Tokyo and picked out those that seemed appealing to me for my last day here. I then went to Itoya, an 11 story stationary store

I then went to Deikanyama T-Site, a cafe/bookstore/lounge that was the nicest bookstore and communal work area I’d ever been to

I went back to Chabad for dinner and then went back to the hotel

Before bed, I watched Lost in Translation for the first time as a capstone to the Tokyo trip (the movie takes place in Tokyo). I thought the movie captured the experience of being in a foreign country really well
