Boyhood (2014)

I can’t believe this is a movie that exists. It honestly makes me rethink the concept of movies. This was just real life..captured. Even more real and intimate and exposing than the before movies 
I loved how this brought me back to childhood. The Harry Potter book launches. That little 20 questions gizmo. Video games with friends. The childhood portion drew me into the movie but the rest just floored me
You understand the character but rather than selected moments like a regular movie, we seemingly get the whole picture of what makes someone who they are. This movie is so singular. Linklater is a time god
