Saw that my Savta had the Criterion disc of this so popped it on her DVD player (non Blu Ray) and watched it on her TV (non 4k)... And if was still really beautiful. Really great use of lighting and color here. Just a great location to shoot a movie.
Hard to rate because movies and movie making was just so different back then but I can tell it was ahead of its time. Another classic checked off
